David Havens is the founder of Spare for Change, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) non-profit focused on growing the game of golf, one club at a time. Spare for Change was created to give players of all levels the opportunity to learn the game through free instruction and recycled golf clubs.
Since its creation in 2011, Spare for Change has given out over 35,000 free golf clubs to players of all ages and experience levels, scholarships to college for golfers, tournament entries, and hours of free instruction.
